FYI - just posted on Facebook: After careful consideration and keeping the health and well being of our Parishioners in mind, we are going to TEMPORARILY cancel the 4:00 Mass at St. Matthews. This is due to our Air Conditioners at St. Matthews not working and the Church becomes extremely hot during the afternoon.
We will still have our other Masses: Saturday: 5:30 PM St. Michaels; Sunday: 8:30 AM St. Michaels and 10:00 AM St. Matthews, and you are encouraged to come to one of those Masses. While we don't have AC at the 10:00 AM Mass, it is much cooler than in the afternoons. Daily Masses will not change.
THIS IS ONLY TEMPORARY as we get the AC units fixed - St. Matthews is an older building so it will take some time to get the parts. Hopefully this will only last a few weeks.
It is a blessing that we have 2 Churches at our Parish, as when one is in need of repairs, we have another place to worship.
